while diggin thru the pile of bikes, I found this old bike seat. I think that I can rebuild it and recover the seat cushion. wish me luck!

Two bikes have been pulled from the pile, cleaned up and repainted. They are for Paul and Alexis. Paul's bike was originally made in 1950 and Alexis's bike was made in 1979! They picked the color that they each wanted, then Paul and I went to work cleaning, polishing, and painting. I think they each turned out pretty good.

Faber cycles building in San Jose Ca. is being condemned...so a trade took place. For a hundred bucks I bought a HUGE pile of bikes and Alexander (the shop owner) recieved one less thing to deal with. I twisted the arm of a friend, (Thanks Paul) and got them all back to my house in two trips. Now I can cut them a part and make couple of rad customs, a handful of tall bikes, a few tandems and maybe a tridem or two. More to come. I will post when I can and update y'all with pictures as they get finished.

made it to the beach today, real happy to be rollin. it is funny, most of the comments that i recieved were from either from old ladys or dudes with tattoos.

today I put the final touches on the bike, buffin is done, sandin is done, time to take it out for the day, take some rad pix, and have a couple of bru-skis with a pal from work. pictures to follow. heck yeah!!!!!!!!

Finished sanding today, it is now ready to be buffed and polished, got things to do tomorrow, guess it will just have to wait.

Helped my neighbor with his bike (motorcycle) this week (mainly just stood around and said yeah yeah that looks good). Tomorrow is the dirt bag build off and he is entering another bike. It was given to him to work his magic for defending his title, having won best in show or some shit last year. There is only one rule at the dirt bag...You cant spend more than one thousand total including the cost of the motorcycle!

I started from nothing but raw material and a idea for a totally rad bike, it has been a long process but it is nearly complete. Posted are a few pix of its humble beginning to near completion.

this is a picture of the general idea, frame not totally together... Just rough cut!

here the frame is a rolling chassis, the tail fins and tank are fabricated, and ideas are festering!

tail fins installed, tail lights installed, tank installed, gears, seat, light....It is a working functioning, ride-able freshie! ready to ride and test all welds for weakness...none noted, its time for glass and paint!!!!!!!!!!

body work is done, House of kolor primer is on, ready for some bling!

house of kolor paint is fresh, first time shooting it and love it! just wish it was cheeper!!!!!!!!!! wet paint is lovely to smell. and this is where this story ends...for now ;)
